  • Paddle without an aid on front
  • Kick effectively with a float on back
  • Paddle without an aid on back
  • Put face in the water and blow bubbles
  • Roll 180 degrees from front to back
  • Jump in without assistance
  • Float on Front and Back with an aid

Stage 1 corresponds to Levels 1 and 2 of the Scottish Swimming Learn to Swim Programme.
